BEBLUE CRYOTECH was created in January 2022 in order to allow the perpetuation of the activities of the cryotechnical testing center of the Cryotribology laboratory of the University of Liege. 

Following the call for proposals for Strategic Innovation Initiatives (IIS), the Minister of Economy, Willy Borsus, has confirmed the list of selected IIS. ULiège is involved in 16 IIS, 5 of which it coordinates.

EuSpecLab, CESAREF and D-Carbonize will enable PhD students to be supervised on ambitious themes over the next three years.
